Vermentino is an Italian white grape variety which is taking Australia by storm right now and this example from LS Merchants in Margaret River is the perfect delicious example.

It's a white whine with slightly less alcohol which makes it a light yet super thirst-quenching tipple. Think notes of fresh lemons just off the tree, hints of tropical fruits and sea spray. It's summer in a glass and matches so well with seafood dishes.
