Grazing Platter Inspiration & Tips

When it comes to creating a grazing platter board, the possibilities are endless.

At Just In Time Gourmet, you might have guessed…we love a good grazing board. Grazing platters are a great alternative to traditional finger food at events like birthdays or work functions.

We source delicious high-quality gourmet food products made by small makers across Australia. This allows us to continue experimenting with pairing different foods to bring you the ultimate grazing board ideas.

To help you decide on what to put on a grazing platter, we’ve shared our favourite grazing boards, including some dessert platters, and listed all the ingredients we used.

This humble grazing platter combines several kinds of cheese, meats including prosciutto and salami, strawberries, olives and Ogilvie & Co Muscatel Clusters. To add some spice to the platter we included Moreish Menu Chilli & Sesame Seed Lavosh Crackers. For our condiments, we’ve included Ogilvie & Co Roast Pepper & Chilli Preserve and Latasha’s Kitchen Beetroot & Horseradish Relish.

This humble grazing board will impress your date without being over the top.

We’ve included camembert, swiss and blue cheese. For the meat element, we have kabana which compliments this combo of cheeses perfectly. You’ll also find Moreish Menu Plain Lavosh Crackers to keep it simple.

For the dip, we’ve combined Pukara Estate Caramelised Onion Jam with mascarpone cheese, chives and mayonnaise. Trust us, it’s drool-worthy!

As an extra touch, we added a small bowl of the Ogilvie & Co Antipasto Medley.

Hey Honey I’m Comb

When it comes to pairing gourmet foods, we like to believe we are the experts.

Whistlers Salted Caramel Coated Pretzels and honeycomb on their own are amazing, but on a savoury grazing platter, they are next level! The combination of cheeses adds a creaminess that complements their sweet and saltiness.

For the meat element, we added twiggy sticks and neatly folded salami. To add some spice to this grazing platter, we used Sichuan Pepper Lavosh Crackers but you can choose from various flavours in the Moreish Menu Crackers range. To add some spice to the board we included Roza’s Gourmet Fire Crackers with Chilli & Sea Salt.

For the relishes, we used Vinofood Tomato & Riesling Relish, Latasha’s Kitchen Zingy Tomato Chutney and Ogilvie & Co Roast Pepper & Chilli Preserve.

We finished off the grazing platter with olives, fresh grapes and stuffed peppers.
