Nothing beats a hot cup of tea, coffee or hot chocolate when you’re cold right down to your bones. Either snuggle up on the couch with your favourite mug or pull out your best friend in winter – the thermos. Whether your commute to work is on the train or by car, a thermal mug is always a good idea.
For that extra zing this winter why not give the Byron Bay Chilli Cinnamon Drinking Chocolate a whirl. The subtle hint of chilli will liven up the coldest hour of the day plus it’s dairy and gluten free.
Our newest addition to our gourmet product range, just in time for winter (no pun intended!) are the treats from Hot Choccy. They are the only flavoured chocolate powders on the market and are made from 100% raw organic cacao powder, they’re gluten-free and they are made with real Belgian chocolate.

They do say wine is good for you in moderation, so how about combing the superfood of red peppers with some Chardonnay & chilli? The VinoFood Red Pepper, Chardonnay & Chilli Sauce is a great way to add some extra fiery flavour to stir-fries, dips and heck we have even been known to sip it straight out of the bottle.
Health.com explains that all tea, whether it’s black, white or herbal contains antioxidants which may have flu-fighting capabilities. We think our Rubra Tea with its calming herbal infusion would be absolutely perfect this winter. With superfoods like aniseed and fennel in, well it doesn’t get much better than that.

Be happy with…
Chocolate, chocolate, chocolate. There’s no denying it, chocolate is the ultimate happy fix. And yes we are totally going to spout on how good chocolate is for you right now! According to health.org.au, it’s all about moderation and dark chocolate. We especially like how their article ends ‘But remember to also eat other flavonoid-rich foods like blueberries, cherries, cranberries, red apples, red cabbage, purple onions, green and white tea and maybe a little red wine.”
As the famous Poet, Edith Sitwell said..
Winter is the time for comfort, for good food and warmth, for the touch of a friendly hand and for a talk beside the fire: it is the time for home.
